Krista M. Tannery, MPAS, PA-C

PA Tannery is a nationally board-certified physician assistant. Krista began her career in medicine while serving in the U.S Air Force where she worked as a medic and emergency medical technician. Thereafter, she underwent physician assistant training at the University of Washington-Seattle in 2009 and completed a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies through Pace University in 2012. Prior to graduate school, she attended both Western Connecticut State University and the University of Washington and graduated with Bachelors of Science and Arts degrees respectively in Clinical Health Services.

Krista dedicated her clinical practice to Sleep Medicine in 2014 and has extensive clinical experience as a sleep specialist. She joined the Colorado Sleep Institute in 2021 and has a particular interest in sleep-disordered breathing, insomnia, and sleep movement disorders. She has a deep passion for providing exceptional care for all her patients, especially veterans and their families.

Krista is an active member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Krista is a native of northern New Jersey. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and 3 dogs. She loves camping, hiking, gardening, fitness, live music, vintage/antique shopping and especially playing ice hockey with her son.  She is a proud member of her local American Legion post.
